Postgraduate Diploma in Maternal and Child Health Nursing

This program is a one academic year course designed to equip learners with advanced knowledge and practical skills in the care of women, newborns, infants, and children. It emphasizes evidence-based practice, compassionate care, and community-focused interventions across the continuum of maternal and child health. Learners will be trained to assess, manage, and respond to complex reproductive, perinatal, and pediatric health issues while strengthening their ability to provide culturally sensitive and high-quality care in both facility and community settings. The program includes theoretical modules, hands-on clinical placements, and supervised practicum to prepare graduates for leadership roles in maternal and child health services.
